The Sangreda familia closely resembles a sureal, "living" building. this can be seen in the shape, and how everything seems to have grown from the ground, instead of being built. the details of this can go as far as the colour of the stonework, appearing from a distance to be built symilar to that of a termite mound.

Termite mounds are Large structures made from sand and a saliva created by termites. the saliva hardens to create a sandrock like consistancy, making the structure firm enough to hold against most enviromental hazzourds. these structures work symilar to that of a block of flats or skyscrapers, due to multiple floors, layers, and passageways.

i have decided to use these surreal structures within my work due to the natural appearance, yet monster like size. making it look like something from another dimension.

Animation tests - clicker run

First animation test, showing one of my characters for my animation in motion. Only a simple 14 frames long, but still rather effective. The actual piece consists of 7 different frames, and was drawn with 2b pencil on white paper. Estimated time for completion, 3-5 hours.

Through studying the movement of dogs, cats, large lizards, and human arms and feet, i applied my knowledge to create an animation showing how my demon persona would move.

Improvements that i would make would be that his chest cavity is too stationary, and would move with the the rest of his body. Another improvement i would make would be to give more movement to his shoulder muscles, as they to, appear unnaturally stationary.

this website is very interesting to look at, nut rather difficult to understand. the text is all in one language, and it doesn't offer a english option. another problem within this piece is how the background, though well created, distracts from the small central image of the fruit. a lot of the image is also made up of blue sky, which creates a blank spot within the piece.

rhis website is extremly intertaining for artists, but lacks interest for other audiances. the website allows you to create your own sketch directly onto the screan. other artists can brows your work and give you constructive crit. the only problem with this is it only covers a small nieche, and is too specific.

this website xperiment, helps people understand the causes and effects of drugs, and how they effect the human body on a celular level. this website is affective through how shocking it is and how it uses strange imagery to draw the aduiances attention into the image. the only fault i could find within the website was how it was tough to navigate round, and didnt explain how to use features, making it hard to understand.
